Folklorico Aztlan de
Sacramento was founded in 2004. The founders of the group strived to share the Folklorico art and culture of
Mexico with everyone that would like to learn. Folklorico Aztlan de Sacramento teaches a mix of traditional, to the
more contemporary art form of Mexican folklore. We are committed to the
community and are dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, discipline, pride,
ethics and celebrating diversity through folkloric dance techniques in a
family-oriented atmosphere.
We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization. We have currently been
accepted to be a part of the 2011 California State Employees Charitable
Campaign.
Some of our past venues
include: California State Fair, Disneyland Resort, Festival de la Familia, Royal Caribbean Cruise line, Gallo Center for the
Arts in Modesto and more.
